Grave of the Fireflies

This is one of the saddest films I’ve seen. The amount of character and life Seita and Setsuko display is what ultimately drives the emotions of the film that hit as soon as they are on the screen during the initail bombing. Watching this with my partner, we had to take multiple pauses to ultimately get through the entire work, as there were multiple moments that overwhelm you to the hardships these characters must indure.
