Drive My Car

As a fan of Murakami’s novels, including the inspriation for this film, ‘Men without Women’, I was excited to see a new adaptation of his work. Ultimatley, I believe the film did justice to the work, while also adding substantial additions that allowed it to stand on it’s own. However, the themes of overcoming loss and grief fell a little flat for me leading to slightly lower rating.
